What are Jericho’s insurance requirements?
Trade partners are required to carry a minimum of $2 million in commercial general liability insurance. The specific coverages, limits, and Additional Insureds are detailed in Subcontract Agreement. A sample Subcontract, which includes these specifics, can be found in the Request for Proposals documentation.
What are Jericho’s safety requirements?
All trade partners (subcontractors) must adhere to our Safety Program, which encompasses a comprehensive set of procedures, practices, and policies. For additional information, please refer to the minimum Project Safety Requirements or review project-specific Request for Proposals.
Does Jericho have a drug & alcohol policy?
Supervisors should be informed if any medication may impact a trade partner’s ability to work safely.
Impairment or influence from legal or illegal drugs or alcohol that hinders work performance or jeopardizes safety is strictly prohibited.
The use of cannabis during work hours is strictly prohibited, regardless of its legalization in BC. Maintaining a drug-free and safe work environment is of utmost importance.
Do I have to be Prequalified to bid on Jericho Projects?
Most bid packages are open to all firms without requiring prequalification.
Evaluation of bids will consider if the successful bidder has the necessary resources and a satisfactory record of previous contract performance, quality, safety, and integrity. However, for certain projects, specific qualifications may be required. Clear instructions will be provided in such cases.
What is the typical timeframe for receiving and completing the Contract Documents and other necessary paperwork?
Once awarded, it is important to promptly submit all required documents such as the Subcontract Agreement, Performance Bonds (if applicable), Certificate of Insurance (as specified in contract document), and Safety Plan. These documents should be returned within a timeframe of Five (5)days from the date of award.
